A Busy Week in Early Years

Early Years visited Church Farm’s orchard to pick apples. The mouldy apples were given to the pigs as a treat. The class enjoyed eating freshly picked apples of many varieties.

On Wednesday Gary arrived with a huge John Deere tractor much to the delight of all the pupils. They enjoyed climbing into the cab to flash the lights and beep the horn.

Today we walked to the ‘Farm Shop’ to buy fresh bread. The children enjoyed eating the bread with honey supplied from a bee keeper, who visited the school yesterday.

Many thanks to Church Farm, the bee keeper and Gary for making these activities possible.
